The big brother of the super popular Super Captain Dual 600 model is now here. The predecessor of the Optibeam Super Captain Dual 800 light, the Super Captain Dual 600, achieved great popularity. Optibeam Super Captain Dual 800 is a real light cannon that is not afraid of the dark.
What is new in the Optibeam Super Captain Dual 800 light compared to the Super Captain Dual 600?
The light is wider: 525 -> 766. This means more LEDs and more power.
The light output has increased considerably, measured lumens: 19896 lm -> 30900 lm
The color temperature is more eye-friendly: 6000K -> 5000K
An additional light that leaves no one cold. In addition to freezing power, the Optibeam Super Captain Dual 800 light features a sensible design. The lens of the light is completely frameless, which allows the light output to remain optimal at all times. When the lens of the light has no edges, snow and slush do not so easily remain on the surface of the light to prevent light transmission.
You can also choose from two different colored parking lights, white or orange.
The light has a Double Up-Boost function, which allows you to extract all the power from the light. With the Double Up power mode engaged, the light produces an incredible 30,900 laboratory-measured lumens and a range of a whopping 725 m @ 1 lux. The Double Up power mode is not approved for road traffic, but is really useful, for example, when driving off-road. When the road-approved power mode is switched on, the range of the light beam is 374m @ 1 lux.
In the Optibeam Super Captain Dual 800 additional light, not only the features, but also the service life have been thought about. The additional light has a three-year warranty and an IP68 rating. The Optibeam Super Captain Dual 800 is therefore not startled by a little moisture, and the long three-year warranty guarantees worry-free kilometers with additional light. The body of the additional light and the lens are also made of durable materials.
